    One kata that I love is the random number challenge in Mighty Byte's Haskell monad challenges: https://github.com/mightybyte/monad-challenges (doesn't seem to be hosted anywhere any more...) Here is my attempt at making it a bit more straight forward: https://github.com/ygt-mikekchar/applicative-kata Beware, though: it's not finished and there are areas that are downright wrong.
