Hey, indeed Zerion and rainbow.me are in Ledger Live "Discover" tab section, they are alternative interfaces to Ledger Live, you do not need to use your recovery phrase or import anything, just open the dapps and try them out! Hopefully this helps and clarifies

Async Storage or Redux-Persist? What do you prefer?
I would suggest use redux toolkit along with redux persist. I've been using that and everything is smooth. Even big project like metamask-mobile uses this combo.
