Need help with pygame's font module
Pygame uses SDL_ttf under the hood to work with fonts. If youâre just wanting to load your own font you can just use pygame.font.Font() and point it to a ttf file. If youâre wanting to mess with the font object or do something else with the raw font data, you might want to check out https://github.com/pygame/pygame/blob/main/src_c/font.c and https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL_ttf/blob/main/SDL_ttf.c to get an idea of what pygame and SDL are doing under the surface.

Can I make a game with a low IQ ?
Start small, don't push yourself hard. Get a book like "Python for kids" and read it. Then try to use ren.py framework: https://www.renpy.org/ to make very simple visual novel. As you get more familiar with python, check PyGame framework: https://www.pygame.org

Ask HN: Can I create a mobile and Web App using Python/Python Framework?
For reference, YouTube runs on Python[1,2,3]:
> 1. Python and Django: YouTubeâs backend is predominantly written in Python, offering a balance of performance and readability.
> 2. Google Cloud Platform...
> 3. Java and C++: YouTube also utilizes Java and C++ for specific backend services, as they provide better performance for certain tasks.

A long time ago, I looked into these Python frameworks:

Modifying GUI elements from a background thread
I have a multi-threaded app using Kivy for the GUI and sometimes need to update the GUI from a background thread. This app is a few years old and I recently updated to Kivy 2.2 and am now getting an exception with the message "Cannot create graphics instruction outside the main Kivy thread" -- which is related to this change in Kivy 2.1: https://github.com/kivy/kivy/pull/7270

Python GUIs
Anyone has some experience with Kivy [1]? It seems that it checks off some of my requirements, like cross-platform, supporting touch interfaces, ease of development, allows complex/fancy UIs as well, etc.

Kivy Buildozer not working (noob)
Buildozer doesn't work on "plain" Windows, it seems like maybe you tried to pip install it on a windows python? You need to use WSL (or a Linux VM), see here: https://github.com/kivy/kivy/wiki/Using-Buildozer-on-windows-10-using-WSL
