Don't have migrator or vanilla cape on any account.
I have 3 minecraft accounts, all of which were originally Mojang and were migrated to Microsoft accounts, why don't I have any of the capes that I should have? I've went to minecraft.net and there's no option to enable capes.

Bedrock Server Upgrade to 1.20.50 showing startup as 1.20.40
I have a server (hosted by Logic) which we tried to upgrade to 1.20.50 tonight. However, when the server starts it shows that it's loading 1.20.40. Logic has tried to help me, and I've tried downloading the file directly from Minecraft.net, same results. I've blown away every single file from the server and tried fresh, it just keeps coming up as 1.20.40 and when my upgraded client tries to connect I get an error that the host is running an outdated client.

curseforge help
So I used to mod back in the day on 1.12 and I tried to do it again on 1.20, does anyone have a (working) tutorial on how to get this to work because every time I press play on the modpack I have created on curseforge it leads me to this dumb "Migrate" screen, once I press it it brings me to minecraft.net where I am still logged into my minecraft account so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
-
Microsoft basically stole my game.
Yes, I logged in with my microsoft account to which the Majong Account was migrated. And after logging in on the profile page on minecraft.net, the game isn't there. I can only buy the game now.

I Just want to install Minecraft Launcher.
Hello to those reading, I got this laptop yesterday, that was second hand refurbished. It's a Dell Windows 11. I've been quick to downloading everything I need, and the last thing i'm downloading is Minecraft Java. I've already bought it on my old laptop so i've logged into microsoft on minecraft.net and i've gone through the usual downloading process.

I need a minecraft magician to help me retrieve my world. I clearly fucked up real bad when my PC crashed mid project. It was about 12 hrs+ of work on a massive build
I'm going to guess there's no backup but it might still be possible to salvage. Based on the error, at least two chunks have malformed data that can't be decompressed. The first thing to try would be to attempt to open the world with MCA Selector. If it can identify and cope with the bad chunks, you can delete them and get back into the world.

MCA Selector help (Mac)
Hello all! This is a screenshot of the terminal for MCA selector when I try to install it on my Mac using these instructions: https://github.com/Querz/mcaselector/wiki/Installation
-
My backup size is getting to big
edit : MCA Selector is the solution i found it here after googling a while https://github.com/Querz/mcaselector

It's possible reset chunks in aternos server?
Try using a program like MCASelector: https://github.com/Querz/mcaselector/releases
-
So my world chunks can just swap with each other!?!?
I use MCASelector on my long run survival, it works pretty good
-
Is it possible to recover a Minecraft single player world with only the region folder?
Correct, that's the only thing left from that world. If you can load the region folder in MCASelector you'll get a top-down view of what's there.
-
Help with server issues? [java] 1.19.4
If it is caused by your explorers going out 20,000 blocks you could try using a tool like MCASelector to trim the world back down to a manageable size.
-
ITS OFFICIAL, Minecraft is set to release June 7th
Use MCAselector to prune the chunks you want to delete then load the world in 1.20 when it’s released and those chunks will regenerate.
- Is there a way to trim chunks remotely? (too large of world file to dl/up locally)
-
Predictably Random - Minecraft 1.20 Pre-release 1 is Out!
In case you don't know, there's https://github.com/Querz/mcaselector which can do this fairly easily: You can even filter chunks by how long players have been in them.
