Cant open MM 3d with project restoration
hmm try an older build and follow the old directions (basically copy the code.bps and exheader_legacy.bin renamed to exheader.bin), I don't know if the mod creator made a mistake or if it was intentional not mentioning the exheader_legacy thing (like maybe they changed it in the new version), you can find the previous build here https://github.com/leoetlino/project-restoration/releases/download/v1.5.8/mm3d_project_restoration_v1.5.8-0-gac45fa5.7z

Nerrel's Majora's Mask N64 HD Texture Pack has been released!
When this project started the 3DS version was inferior to the N64 one due to a large number of issues (mostly addressed in Project Restoration. There is currently a community effort underway to port Nerrel's work to the 3DS version, and while some of it translates directly, other parts need to be reconsidered due to lighting and texture placement changes.

"Arceus is held back by it's hardware"
You might be interested in the project restoration for MM3D by leoetlino. It restores Zora Link's original swimming, removes eyes on the first 3 bosses, fixes ice arrows, improves controls and more. It basically makes MM3D the definitive edition of the game as it should have been from the start.

Are there cool things can I add to my 3DS besides games and themes?
Anyways, Majora's Mask on the N64 was a masterpiece, but the remake on the 3DS made it worse, by removing beloved features, adding hated features, and not bothering to add improvements to annoyances in both the original and the remake. Luckily, a developer made a patch to remove the hated features, restore the beloved features and add quality of life improvements. There's the info here restoration.zora.re and you can get it from here github.com/leoetlino/project-restoration.

I recently played Majora’s Mask and Majora’s Mask 3D back-to-back, and I’m warming up to the remake.
Majora's Mask is also easily my favorite. The theme, the story, the dungeons, items, characters, bossfights, and unique concepts. So nostalgic. Just use the Majora's Mask 3D restoration project by leoetlino. Make sure you have Luma3DS on your 3DS (thanks to the active community, its really fast and easy to set it up). Here is the link to the project: https://github.com/leoetlino/project-restoration/releases. Download the latest 7z file, extract it, and to make it short, just follow the guide on the official website https://restoration.zora.re/. I hope you don't miss out!

Too Many Fonts in Windows 10 Can Cause Slow Application Starts
I have never heard anyone say anything good about the Visual Studio debugger before. Now, I'm not a Windows person but I'm not gonna argue for gdb or lldb here. RemedyBG and x64dbg are the two debuggers I've heard good things about though I've never used them because, again, not a Windows person.

Advice needed on disabling license checks on some old proprietary abandonware
I'd help you out but because of circumstances I have no laptop with me. You need x86/x64 debugger to do this. This one for example Find a registration procedure and look for possible brenching to other parts of code in assembly. It's probably somewhere in the beginning. Exclude code validation and export new program version.

C/C++: Where is the address of a declared variable stores?
One interesting thing you can do is download an app like https://x64dbg.com/ or cheat engine, which will let you see the memory. You can look at the process for something you’ve made and explore it. Log a memory address from your app then go find it in the tool and interpret the bytes as an integer. Find a string and see how that works. Find a pointer, read the address it’s pointing then go look at that address. You start to see how different containers store data. I find it fascinating.

How do I get opcode instructions from hexdump
.exe is a complex format and not something you're going to extract raw instructions from using a hexdump. What you need is a "disassembler". For Windows I'd recommend x64dbg.

DayZ running on Apple Silicon 🔥
Patch the DayZServer_x64.exe, change "test al, al" to "cmp al, 2". i used x64dbg (https://x64dbg.com) a good video for the whole process: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F1A0lpumREPXtVeoTMq1HiEnvaZp-NUU/view
