If you want to use a libary in the browser, a lightweight library like Prism is more suitable.
Fastly fiddle turns 5 with a bunch of new features

So we replaced Monaco with Prism for read-only fiddles, and added code-splitting to further reduce the amount of React code needed before the page can render. Then we made Fiddle's embed IFRAMEs lazy-load, so we don't load it at all if it's off-screen, and we don't block initial render. But the fact remains that an embedded fiddle still took a couple of seconds to load and render.

Build Static Blogs with Keystone
5 projects | dev.to | 8 Sep 2022
Keystone's document field is powered by an incredible rich text editor. All the default components (headings, paragraphs, bold, italics, code blocks, etc) that you usually use to write a blog post are supported by the editor out of the box. The editor exposes an intuitive API to build your own custom components and that's what makes this blog template stand out. This template includes a few custom components in the editor that would be useful in a blog post. Eg. Hero image, Tweet embed, YouTube embed, callout, custom blockquote and custom code blocks with syntax highlighting using prism.

How to Build the Perfect Developer Portfolio 🔥

The codeblocks are highlighted using prism.js, and there is a different highlighting method used for both light and dark modes. There are also titles on the code, which are generally relative to the placement of the file within the codebase. Lastly, I added a "copy" component to the code when the user hovers, as it just makes it more convenient.
I made a full-stack portfolio site using Next.js and Tailwind!

The first two ages are very heavy on content so I decided to use markdown and tailwind’s typography plugin for styling. I also used showdown to fetch the markdown and turn it into HTML. The code for the above can be found on the site’s GitHub repository.

Also, note I've made use of some styling here; just a minimal example of how you can use Tailwind CSS and the official Tailwind Typography plugin. It's really fantastic for this sort of use case. If you're curious more about the styling have a look at the GitHub repo.
What's up with my content it looks horrible?

I don't know.. it's so weird - it is saying I have it somewhere - the typography.. like what is it? Is it a css file - https://github.com/tailwindlabs/tailwindcss-typography - this "plugin" doesn't even have a CSS file. I have no idea how this works... not even sure if it's installed because my node_modules/tailwindcss doesn't have a typography folder.3 projects | reddit.com/r/tailwindcss | 4 Sep 2022

I use https://www.getzola.org/ + https://tailwindcss.com. In special the use of this plugin helps a lot (mean, you don't need to do styling for the markdown) https://tailwindcss.com/docs/typography-plugin.
