What's in your crontab?
This doesn't directly answer your question, but probably has the pieces here for you to put together. I use this script for polybar using openweather API, there are a couple variations of this script in the repo too if you want more examples. Openweather API seems to work well though, you could probably modify it for you use case.

How can I use "pacman -Sy" (download fresh package databases) in a polybar script?
On a related note, there is a Github repo of common Polybar scripts (which is also available as an AUR package, polybar-scripts-git). It looks like you independently arrived at virtually the same script used for the updates-pacman-aurhelper module example.

Openweathermap-fullfeatured module issues with fonts & text rendering
Hello ! I have been trying to use the openweathermap-fullfeature module found here, but I've had a few issues with the text rendering on my bar. I would assume this is due to the font but I don't know what I could do to fix it, since I already have every font file in my /usr/share/fonts directory. Every font file found on the github repo is placed there, along with all my other font files, and I haven't experienced any other issues with fonts and text rendering.

Real time lyrics scrolling in polybar
Its a bit out of scope for regular usage, but you could setup a own repo for this script and we link it to our community repos.
You could probably also get it into our polybar-scripts repo, but there u/x70b1 has to decide whether it will be accepted.

player-mpris-tail script module has a missing background
Hello everyone, I'm using the polybar theme from this r/unixporn post, (and here's a direct link to the dotfiles) and I'm currently trying to add the player-mpris-tail module to it, but it specifically has a different background than the rest:
