Does anyone know how to add a C172 with G430 in Microsoft flight simulator Steam edition?
I've tried to follow this https://github.com/pimarc/pms50-gns530, and unzip the file and place in in my community folder. However, it didn't work.

Is this what we should expect from XP12 ? Not impressed (grab from latest video)
Have you tried the PMS50 mod? It brings the default GNS530 to a "usable" level.

The default doesn't. Get the PMS50 mod for the 530.

To be more serious about your autopilot/garmin question, this uses the ASobo AP and Garmins, though you can improve those with free/paid mods and the plane supports those too. eg the GTN750 from PMS or this GN530

I suggest getting this mod. It adds a lot of RL functionality.

Maybe I’m a weirdo… but I love the preflight almost as much as the flight. Charts, weather, & Vatsim radio. I love it all :)
