Installing packet tracer on fedora
Sadly alien does not work for PacketTracer. But there is a script that will install it for you.

Whats the deal with suse
I specifically mentioned PacketTracer because I recently had to install it on a Fedora 37 machine, and sadly, alien does not work for it. It requires additional work to be installed. If I were on Arch, the AUR would have taken care of the entire process.
