plasma-mobile VS Tow-Boot

I tried flashing Manjaro-ARM-plasma-mobile-pinephonepro-20220311.img.xz from this page and then I tried Arch Linux ARM but I don't have the link readily available.

So probably Manjaro Plamo. Try this image.

Autorotate does not work for me for far on Mobian plasma either I am currently running the Beta3 https://github.com/manjaro-pinephone/plasma-mobile/releases/tag/beta3 really for me right now autorotate and resizing issues (I like Mobian but it seems that some apps don't work well with either 100 or 200%) are what I'm dealing with right now. To reiterate in Manjaro Plasma I have found the autorotate button and turned it off and back on again so am looking for any possible terminal configurations people have found to adjust before contacting Pine and investigating any hardware issues. I will admit I don't know my way around plasma very well so it could be something simple, I mean I haven't even found the gui button to turn it off so I have been typing poweroff in the terminal to turn the phone off in plasma. I know there must be a button to click somewhere but I haven't found it.

For the Pine family of SBCs I highly recommend installing Tow-Boot - https://tow-boot.org/ - on the SPI flash memory to allow yourself much better boot options, including booting directly from NVMe so you don't need to keep the MicroSD card plugged-in.

TL:DR: Install Tow-boot first, then install in Mobian image.

I opened a ticket on Two-Boot because I wasn't sure Tow-Boot was actually installed, and every information on the internet assume you don't use Tow-Boot (and so, Micro SD is booted if present).

Also the PinePhone and PinePhone Pro both can (and the PPP already does in postmarketOS) boot with UEFI nowadays. For that we use Tow-Boot currently but it could be any platform firmware really.

Also you should use Tow-boot which is more user-friendly than u-boot. you can download it here. Make sure you select the one for "pine64-pinephonePro" and not "pine64-pinephoneA64". You can find instructions for installing it here.

U-boot is quite the nice project. Any opinion on tow-boot as a tool for it?
