New Release Board Game
Version 0.4.0 of the board game Planes, a variant of the battleships game, brings the possibility of playing against other human players în the multiplayer module of the Android application and desktop app. The desktop and Android clients are compatible and one can play from the desktop app against an Android client. In order to play the multiplayer version one needs to register a user în the application. The user data that are used are restricted to a minimum: username and password. To unlock the multiplayer version one must go to the Settings screen and set the option 'Multiplayer version' to 'Yes' In order to play against another player create a game then send the game name to the opponent. Following the opponent connecting to the game you can then edit your board and start guessing enemy planes positions. The technologies used for the calls to the server are the Retrofit library for Android and Qt (QNetworkRequest, QNetworkReply) for the desktop application. In the Github repository there were uploaded versions for Android, Linux, Windows (including Windows 11). The Windows 11 version was created using Qt 6.3. To get the Android app visit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.planes.android&hl=ro&gl=US To visit the Github repository go to https://github.com/xxxcucus/planes

iPhone 14 Pro comes with dual-frequency GPS
It is possible on quite a few modern Android phones to access raw receiver data and do post-processing using a rinet file to get mm-level accuracy. It's a little over my head since this isn't my industry. One of Google's more obscure Android apps to be used with it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.and...
GPSTest also carries some logging functionality to do the same: https://github.com/barbeau/gpstest
