Hah I've got my own backlog of side projects, don't tempt me I'm like a year behind on it :). If you ever get around to building it or something like it I'd love to hear about it. You should check out tools like https://github.com/nocodb/nocodb which expose a spreadsheet like interface on top of a database.

From the tech side this could be something like Airtable or the open source alternative NocoDB with some automation tools like n8n (also open source) or zapier to start doing other system automation tasks that you can use for other tasks that'll appear later.

My Reasons Why I Should Do Open Source Project
2 projects | dev.to | 24 Oct 2022
My fourth PR has been sent to nocodb which is an awesome open source airtable alternative. The code base is really large and its community is very active. It was really tough for me to understand the code base and how it's architected. But I'm very happy with my PR to add an optional parameter to ROUND function to show decimal numbers in the cell. As the last contributions of the Hacktoberfest, I would like to write about my reasons why I have to do open source contribution.
