I2P-Bote doesn't work
Not sure, we haven't been able to reach the maintainer of the plugin(ping u/mhatta) for quite a while, even though their I2P Sites are all still up. There is a path-of-least resistance to a replacement for it available by replacing I2P-Bote with pboted: https://github.com/polistern/pboted but in it's present form pboted still requires some configuration to use.

Climate activist arrested after ProtonMail provided his IP address
i2p-bote https://github.com/i2p/i2p.i2p-bote is supposed to be the answer with a truly decentralized anonymous (to which point?) messaging system over the i2p network. The project hasn't been updated for a while though.
