    I can't give you a complete list, but hopefully this will help find what you're looking for: the approach that you describe is known as a "passwordless login", and it has been implemented in the past, e.g. in https://www.npmjs.com/package/passwordless (though the "magic link" is a popular name, too). The library itself has faded into obscurity, but it should be possible to find past discussions pertaining to your concerns.
