So I’m looking at getting into Bitcoin mining but someone told me to look into Monero Mining first. But he didn’t day why….. why is mining Monero better? Easier?
If you want to get started on mining you can mine on p2pool, either set up your mining manually following these instructions, or use this 3rd party automatic installer

I'm trying to mine Monero for the first time
Yes, if you scroll down on their github, there's a guide on how to build from source on different operating systems and just below that is a guide on how to set it up. There are also readily compiled binaries for download if you don't want to build from source and even an installer for windows (scroll to the bottom, don't confuse it with the download link to get xmrig) - also note that the installer isn't made by the p2pool dev himself, but big names from within the community deem it save; also note that I have no personal experience with the installer.

Official Blogpost: Monero P2Pool is now live
There's a windows installer by another dev if you want to get started quickly.

Some quick googling brought me to one someone else already built here. But I'm sure there are a lot you could find. But that one at least gives you an idea of what it would look like.
