On Linux samba. is used to setup SMB shares (i.e. the \server\directory format you are using in you examples.) Do you have that installed and configured?
Any Free or opensource AD, or Endpoint management tools?

You need to deploy AD. Even Samba can do it.
Best methods for backup
1 project | reddit.com/r/pihole | 15 Dec 2021
For a backup solution you could get another Pi, or use another computer you have and host a Samba instance. Then you could create a cron job that automatically backups either the entire pihole and dnsmasq directories, or only sync the important stuff (adlists, static IP addresses, etc.)

How I set up a RaspberryPi to share my files and media
4 projects | dev.to | 24 Nov 2021
I wanted a solution that was relatively easy to access on a local network and elsewhere. Preferably the same solution used the same way in both cases. This requirement ruled out Samba shares, as it's not designed for sharing across the internet. I looked at NFS, but encountered speed and reliability issues, and recent macOS support is poor with documented workaround to enable version 4 seemingly not working anymore.

Does any one have CVE-2017-14746 POC?
1 project | reddit.com/r/hacking | 26 Sep 2021
afaict, a public poc is not available. But, while it can be relatively easy to trigger a UaF vulnerability (and make crash the application), it may be very difficult or even impossible to transform it to remote code execution. The fix is here https://github.com/samba-team/samba/commit/deda04389a7e0baddb88d4d611a6f07926776b28, you may be able to figure out how to trigger the crash.
