  I personally use the data curator file tree, at least the top folders like Adult, Archives, etc. My subfolders are unique. It could be a start.

  I started off with a copy of the datacurator file tree (https://github.com/roboyoshi/datacurator-filetree/) as it was some years ago, some things have changed in the repo but the idea is the same. Eventually I moved it into a top folder called public which is where anything I have optioned from the internet or anywhere else goes, and the i have a second folder called private for mostly pictures and documents (just recreating the relevant parts of the file tree). Inside the file tree some things are managed by some software, for example literature contains my calibre library, video is managed by Jellyfin, etc. I have also made additions like a separate folder in public for comics. Finally I have a third top level folder called ingest where things I haven't organized go to die.

  Earlier I had found the Roboyoshi File Tree and while I enjoy the system and the idea of assiging 2-digit by 2-digit numbers to each big thing, that doesn't work to, for example, give one to each TV series, and going three or even four folders deep almost seems mandatory for many of them.

  I recently centralized all the data from multiple sources, primarily desktops, laptops, tablets & mobiles. As each source was organized differently to the next and is used by various people, is there any value in categorizing data in a logical structure e.g. https://github.com/roboyoshi/datacurator-filetree?

  My dream is to use a file naming likes : https://github.com/roboyoshi/datacurator-filetree but it's impossible with UnRAID, for example if I create a "Big" Media folder with Videos, eBooks, Images, I can't set different access permission and storage method (it's all on the array or all on the cache pool !)

  I linked my GitHub repo where I have created the graph and the actual folders. The graph is created using FreePlane and is under doc/, I also added a graph of this subreddit's datacurator GitHub repo using the same format and some name changes for reference.

• Book streaming app that is open source, not Ubooquity or Calibre (or based on/requires it) AND can read books with text (and not pages of images)?

  Why not Calibre? Because it forces its data structure on me. With Komga, my unique organizational style is not messed with at all. I follow a similar structure to Roboyoshi's and I'm kind of particular about it. I just point it at the folder that houses all my books and import, with no change to my file structure. I can't just point Calibre to my established lit folder; it requires an empty folder upon setup.
