Self hosted personal wiki
So not opensource but free and not really a wiki but a note app ( you said you want one, so that's why I am mentioning it ) -> https://obsidian.md/

How do better yourself ?
Overall, I re-read old books, use things like Calibre to create a digital library, and Obsidian to store/record research papers. Try to keep your resources organized and be ok with not being perfect. This field is way too broad to be good at everything, so try to make accessing information/materials simplistic and intuitive so you don’t feel like you're struggling to find answers when you need them.

Iwtl how to be more productive.
I use something called zettelkasten https://zettelkasten.de/introduction/ along with something like Obsidian (free) https://obsidian.md/ (really good for this) or OneNote.

Ask HN: Text Editor with “add prefix/suffix around selected text” feature?
I don't know if it meets your definition of lightweight, but Obsidian does this. https://obsidian.md

What Editor, Notes, Bibliography/Source and Storage Apps are Part of your Workflow?
I need something I can type in Markdown preferably. I currently use Obsidian for that and use the "MarkDownload" Web Extension to convert online sources into Markdown with a high degree of customization. It allows me to convert articles and web content easily into Markdown.

Obsidian Plugin Statistics Website
Thanks for checking it out. No it is not related, have not seen it yet. The data seems to be older on that site. For example the calendar plugin has 486814 at this point. You can see that in the official Obsidian repository here. Also new to Obsidian Roundup, will check both out, thank you.

Better site/format to organize my hoard?
You'd have to share your vault with another person with obsidian I think, and I don't think you can make it so they can't edit anything =_= but I still find it very helpful for personal organization! here's the link!
