nzbCheck
command line tool to check nzb files. First inside the nzb to see if each files has the expected number of Articles, then we check their availability on Usenet using the NNTP Stat command. Implemented in C++11/Qt5, nzbCheck is released for Linux, Windows, MacOS and RPI. (by mbruel)

The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.

File availability test results via multiple providers
The test was done using nzbCheck software by mbruel, and using different geographical domains (hostnames) where available. Backbones covered: Eweka, Abavia (Usenext), BaseIP (TweakNews), Highwinds (Astraweb, EasyNews, Newsgroup Ninja, Newshosting, Frugal Usenet), UsenetExpress (UsenetNews), Its Hosted (Usenet.Farm, UsenetNews, Frugal Usenet), Uzo Reto (ViperNews)

Help with movie and Tv set up
One thing to consider is how frequently they health check the nzbs, if they have 10,000s of nzbs it could potentially take a long time. Tools like nzbCheck exist but I'm not sure if this is what is being used.
- Is there a CLI tool that can check nzb completion ?
- How to check if a file I see on a index site is indeed available on servers?

It‘s been more than 2 years that animetosho plead uploaders to stop RAR‘in their Usenet uploads. What are Your thoughts on this in 2023?
Some servers seem to be rather unreliable regardless, but I (anecdotally) found it to be more reliable with the slightly smaller article size. it's worth pointing out that NewsUP found the same thing independent of my findings. ngPost's default is also 700K, but it seems to have always been that way.

Usenet Posting - Obfuscation, PAR files, RAR uploads and other things
