Rusty revenant Servo returns to render once more
For innovative new browsers, there's Nyxt: https://nyxt.atlas.engineer/
Both are looking for funding and sponsors.

Web Environment Integrity API
I am not a hopeful romantic, but the EU has been investing on vendor neutral web-browsers like Nyxt [0] and the UR Browser [1] through the Horizon Europe program. I doubt that legislators (at least in the EU) will view this as a positive development, assuming EU legislators know what they are doing. On the other hand, lobbying by big tech is still very much a threat.

using keyboard
There are some keyboard centered browsers like Qutebrowser or Nyxt. For Firefox as well as for Chrome based browsers there exist several extensions to implement vim-like keybindings.

WEBKIT_DISABLE_SANDBOX_THIS_IS_DANGEROUS: Any alternatives?
Am I correct that this is not fixed until this issue is closed (I tried building from source the 3.3.0 release and master branch but both have the exact same issue)?

Nyxt browser: Unable to configure xdg-desktop-portal

The nicest web browser of 2023 uses Lisp.

Is the browser absolutely usable for anyone else?
Besides installing from a package provided by your distribution, there are at least three different ways to install Nyxt under linux. See https://github.com/atlas-engineer/nyxt/releases/tag/3.1.0
The packaging of Nyxt for Arch Linux is beyond our responsibility. The official ways in which we distribute Nyxt can be found at https://github.com/atlas-engineer/nyxt/releases.

How to save passwords in browser
There is a Qutebrowser user script for 1password: https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/blob/master/misc/userscripts/qute-1pass. Disclaimer: I am the original author (it’s been refactored a lot by mkonig since I originally wrote it). My original version is here https://github.com/tomoakley/dotfiles/blob/master/qutebrowser/userscripts/1password

Help using qutebrowser on a mac
Glad to hear! You'd either add it to the userscripts folder in the repo, or add a link to the README about it and host it elsewhere.
Proprietary codec support with alternative macOS/Linux PyQt packages has some patches to get qutebrowser to work with a Homebrew Qt install, which comes with proprietary codecs.

Qutebrowser seems to be deteriorating a bit
I did a first test run when the Beta was out, on March 17th.
Your first issue is due to webengine 6.5. See https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/issues/7662 . It's pretty annoying indeed, and unfortunately, issues relating to new Qt versions have been taking a while (or have always done so). One workaround is downgrading to webengine 6.4. The other is duplicating your current tab, as described over at GitHub.
