nvm for Windows VS play.tailwindcss.com

I usually develop on Windows so I installed NVM for Windows from here, but if you’re on other OS I’m sure you can find a version that supports it, probably this is the answer.

You can use nvm and nvm for Windows to switch version of Node and NPM on the fly.

Harder option: install nvm , and run ‘nvm use lts’. NVM I’ll manage your nodejs version and let you easily update/switch version

I used nvm (for Windows) (for Linux/MacOS else) to install node/npm for use. Then I used the v18 lts version of node to run this.

NVM is a macOS and Linux project. To use it on Windows, you'll have to use NVM for windows.

I am using the official update guide to update one major version at a time. I am also using the best node-angular compatibility guide I could find in conjunction with nvm-windows to manage node versions.

I'm a beginner and I don't know why tailwind behaves differently when used with svelte. I type this code on tailwind playground.

Tailwind support would be awesome. I often use Tailwind Play (https://play.tailwindcss.com/) when I'm "sketching out" the look of a new component since it's so quick to iterate and get immediate visual feedback, as you well know.

That, or go the Playground site to create components with markup in the browser from scratch. That site uses the Monaco editor, the same one that powers VS Code; so even in the browser you can use some VS Code features, like hovering on class names to see their CSS output.

There is much more to talk about Tailwindcss. It has good documentation and also it has a playground. At first, it may look weird and pointless but I promise if you start working with it, it shows up its power very soon. I am not sure how one can resist it then.

Seems https://play.tailwindcss.com/ is the best balance, but it doesn't allow split window to see both CSS and HTML at the same time.
