  • Just found out multiple tabs is finally available. Has this been around for a long time? (CTRL + click on any page)

That’s true, but if anyone is interested in “tabs” as we know them in browsers, I can suggest notion-enhancer. It’s not just tabs, but many useful features and preferences u can tweak.
  • How to customise Notion's CSS

I would not recommend trying to make your own css theme from scratch if you do not know how to code css. There are a lot of elements that need to be edited, and it's easier to simply edit an existing theme. Full credit for the code goes to dragonwocky and the other contributors of Notion Enhancer, I simply copied the required parts and edited/added stuff to customise it to my need (I don't use Notion Enhancer cause I can't get it to work and I don't really need all its features).

Until they drop the browser plug-in, in order to get NotionEnhancer (which is practically a necessity for most,) you'll want one of the packages suitable to your system that's recommended.
  • Hide the '+ new' gallery button CSS tweak not working
    2 projects | /r/Notion | 22 Jun 2021
A couple of months ago I started using Notion and tried out the notion enhancer to add some extra bits of customization. I really enjoyed using the option of CSS tweaks to alter aspects of default Notion. More specifically, there was a CSS tweak that allowed you to hide the '+ new' button in galleries which made things much more aesthetically pleasing.

  • Notion on Linux thanks to WebApp
    4 projects | /r/Notion | 30 Jan 2021
Hi! This is cool, but pointless. With the app in this state you'd honestly probably be better off just using the website. It's also not as hackable as other versions of the Notion app are because it's a native system wrapper rather than an Electron (without the performance improvements you'd expect from that, since it still uses the same concept of creating a browser instance for the app). For true ports of the app to Linux (same electron app code as on macOS/windows repackaged to work on Linux) that are also compatible with the notion-enhancer, check out:

I use firefox's addon Stylus to add custom CSS to the Notion web client. I got inspiration from notion-enhancer as well (link - I had to change some of the CSS since it's a little bit outdated). For injecting javascript I load a local extension for notion.so domain, it's not published yet so I have to load it every time I restart firefox. You can write your own addon or use existent ones that let you inject javascript files very easily.
