noscript VS privacybadger

Use a different name, password, and email if you can. Keep an adblocker and noscript handy. Don't accept cookies from new sites. Maybe even use the TOR browser for better anonymity and safety while you're giving these new platforms a test run.

What is it?

I'll give an example of NoScript which is a great project that you should be using. Most people download the extension directly though their browser. Firefox shows 317,244 active users and Chromium shows 100,000+ users. Some people know of the website. Less people know of the GitHub project the NoScript Common Library (nscl). NoScript has 645 stars and nscl has 15 stars. 417,244+ active users and only 660 stars. If you use the project and you have a GitHub account, give it some love with some stars!

By today's experience, I point to learnlatex.org as point of entry. It equally is among the resources / getting started (column on the right). On the landing page, choose your language / script and start -- don't worry about installation, train at your pace. Each track is about the same basics plus a few (but very helpful) details specific to the language in question. All you need is a web browser with support of JavaScript (i.e., toggle-off NoScript for these pages).

I think part of the problem is the SS bypass function is just not great. Another part might be not having everything whitelisted that needs to be. For example, using the NoScript browser plugin I can see that this webpage right here attempts connections to reddit.com, redditmedia.com, redditstatic.com, datadome.co, google.com and sentry.io.

I would highly suggest you download the web browser https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/windows/ Install the addons, https://privacybadger.org/ https://ublockorigin.com/ Make sure to enable https only mode in Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/https-only-prefs Then use a privacy oriented search engine like, https://duckduckgo.com/ Or, https://www.startpage.com/ And change your DNS to either, https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/ Or, https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/dns/what-is-1.1.1.1/

And while you’re at it, protect yourself from trackers, too!

More intense script and tracker blocker. https://privacybadger.org/ You know that thing when you are talking about something and then you'll see ads for it plastered everywhere, that kind of multi site tracking... Even know the ad is already blocked by ublock, I like to block the scripts too.

adblockers don't always block the trackers. I use adblocker + privacy badger.

If you want to search for things related to camping, but you don’t want people to know you’re camping use a VPN, open Firefox in incognito mode, and search with Duck Duck Go. Also EFF has a browser plug-in called Privacy Badger I recommend.
