I am a Network Engineer and Sysadmin. I have been using tools like Netbox and phpIPAM for tracking IP Addresses, Subnets, VLANs, etc. both of which provide excellent REST API functionality.

IPAM = IP Address Manager. It's a webpage to allow you to keep track of your used IP addresses in your network. Very convenient when your looking for a static IP for a server.
