I really like this. Definitely has the MacOS/Apple vibe going for it. I don't see it pulling me away from nightTab, just due to the shear amount of customization it offers, but if you added the ability to let users set their own image and/or icon for each link that would be nice!

nightTab is safe. Iit has no access any of your personal data. You can confirm this by a number of ways: - It doesn't ask for any permissions - It is open source and anyone can see the source code - It is published on both the Chrome and Firefox extension stores, so has gone through the checks and reviews by each company. In fact, as part of Firefoxs review process their team requests a copy of the source code to look through. Happy to answer any other questions about my project.

Hi, this is possible. You have to export your setup and move it to the other device to be imported there. More detailed steps are found here: https://github.com/zombieFox/nightTab/wiki/Data-backup-and-restore

I'm unable to reproduce this issue. Can you open an issue on the GitHub repo? Please include lots of details about the browser version, OS, the backup file etc.

There are generally 3 types of start pages ones that have add-ons, simple html sites ("demos") and self hosted start pages. Installing the add ons should be simple and can be applied to both your homepage/new tab.

Thanks to your feedback, I've added a new option to display "dateAdded" for bookmarks and two new options how the recentness of dateAdded affects the score. By default this is very low. (It will take a while until this is published at the stores).

Regarding the sorting / filtering: I see the value in it, but this would be more work and I want to think it through first. Maybe I'll find the time to add it. If yes, maybe I'll add a "sort" mode that cycles between "score" (default)" "last visited" or "date added". Although only score is available for all types of results.
