How to contribute to open source projects
The project of my choice was ngxtension. If you don't know ngxtension: It is a collection of useful Angular utilities. As Angular developer you should definitely check it out.

Hacking Angular Signals
You can find this function in the NG Extension Platform: documentation.
-
Signals are VALUES, not EVENTS
It's a good opportunity to rethink migrating from RxJS to Signals, as more and more APIs are signal-based: the framework (signals, computeds, effects and the rxjs-interop) and ecosystem (NGRX signal store), as well as tons of experiments (such as this one).

Svelte Reactivity: Let's Talk About $Effects
I have raised this issue here, and the summary of the discussion is: There is no one API that can be used to accurately know when it is OK to register effects. Core team member trueadm expressed the fact that the core team has had this discussion before, and that they may (but not guaranteed to) come up with a new rune for this exact purpose. At the time of writing, this pull request defines the $effect.active rune for this purpose and is still a draft pull request.

2. There are some issues with supporting decorators (Svelte https://github.com/sveltejs/svelte/issues/11502, and a lot of others).

Svelte 5 is not JavaScript
Oops, you're right, here's the other issue: https://github.com/sveltejs/svelte/issues/15325
That should shed more light on my problem, which is not just due to proxies, but is also a result of props being getters under the hood.

Everything about Google Translate crashing React (and other web apps)
You are confused about the issue, and the OP does its part in contributing to the confusion. It's not a VDOM issue, it's not React exclusive (that part the post is explicit about) and indeed Svelte is affected as well: https://github.com/sveltejs/svelte/issues/15090
When seeing issues like this one pop up with React in the title, one should really have a good think whether this is solved principally different in other fws OR, and this should be the null hypothesis, is React in the title because it is more widely used than all the others combined

Firebase: deploy a React application with Firebase Hosting
Vite is a modern build tool created by Evan You, the same developer behind Vue.js. It is designed to provide a faster and leaner development experience for modern web projects. You can use Vite to create front-end projects in seconds: React, Svelte, Lit, Qwik and many others modern frameworks are supported.
