Wireguard GUI on Gnome
I used to use a neat little plugin - network-manager-wireguard to make my wireguard connections using the GUI under VPN connections. It's dead simple - create the profile and it shows up in the tool bar as a toggle switch. Unfortunately it breaks in network-manager v1.36 and above, so I've locked it to v1.34 . I make different wireguard connections daily so it's inconvenient to have to go into nmtui to make the connection if I go that route...

Unable to connect to wireguard VPN via KDE's NetworkManager
NetworkManager supports WireGuard natively. I wouldn't use the networkmanager-wireguard package, which is the VPN plugin (from https://github.com/max-moser/network-manager-wireguard). I would uninstall that.

Mozilla VPN releases Linux client PPA
On Arch I installed this package to get a GUI for WireGuard in the Gnome Control Panel. It doesn't look like anyone has packaged it for Ubuntu, but you could install it from source.

Mozilla.social is live and open to registration
> think they don't support plain wireguard/openvpn from CLI, you're stuck with a client not available for your officially supported OS...
This is possible, I had good results with https://github.com/NilsIrl/MozWire

Mozilla VPN bro working on mobile (iPhone iOS 16) since software update. Have uninstalled, turned phone on and off etc. it blocks all my traffic. Turned it off and got flooded with notifications. Anyone else experiencing issues?
The Mozilla VPN app never worked for me. What I do is use Mozwire to get WireGuard configuration files and use the default WireGuard app works fine.

Question about open source (sorry if I sound dumb)
Lastly (shameless plug) you can use Mozilla VPN without using the official client and use https://github.com/NilsIrl/MozWire.git (here the difference in terms of trust with MozillaVPN is mainly that MozWire is much smaller and so can be audited easily and MozWire is much easier to compile than the official mozilla vpn client).
