The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

What are the best programs-frameworks for path planning and kinematic simulation of a custom robotic arm
MoveIt provides this through IterativeParabolicTimeParameterization. You can use this implementation as a reference, if you want to have an in depth understanding of how a trajectory is generated.

[Question] Opencv 3.2 has a buggy aruco pose estimator?
I saw from https://github.com/ros-planning/moveit_calibration that this particular version has a buggy aruco pose estimator, does anyone know what exactly is buggy about it? I tried to follow along their discussion at https://github.com/ros-planning/moveit/issues/1070, but I couldnt find any thing detaled about it.

We've created a open source Gazebo alternative that is much easier and more efficient to develop simulations.

Robotics on WSL2 using ROS, Docker and Unity 3D (Part II)
For this demo project I have chosen a cute robotic manipulator which is open sourced. To use a robot with ROS in Unity you need an existing URDF (robot file descriptor) which is usually shipped by the robot manufacturer. In specific I have decided to work on a static robotic manipulator and operate it with MoveIt!.
What are some alternatives?
