H.264 + HDR?
Can't seem to get HDR to work from a Shield TV if HEVC (H265) is turned off. HDR works with HEVC, but at the cost of poorer performance and FPS dips during gameplay. I'm using the Mass Effect Andromeda trick (https://github.com/lyckantropen/moonlight_hdr_launcher) and I can only really say I noticed this issue recently. Anyone else experiencing this - or is everyone who got HDR to work stuck with HEVC?

Simplest and best way to gamestream all games inc. Xbox game pass
I installed the Moolight HDR launcher on the remote PC (https://github.com/lyckantropen/moonlight_hdr_launcher), and use Moonlight on my Shield. This way, I have an icon « Mass Effect Andromeda » which starts the streaming without loading any game. From there, I just use a mouse to start my games from the Xbox app.

My quest for the perfect local streaming setup is over
I'm using moonlight_hdr_launcher with gamestream launchpad which I have set to launch steam big picture mode so that I don't need to fake Andromeda for every game. I add all of my games to Big Picture Mode because I like to use as my steam controller and to use steam link on my phone on occasion. This lets me play any game on my computer at 1440p,120Hz, HDR.

Can't gamestream in HDR anymore, using moonlight HDR launcher
On host PC, I have moonlight HDR launcher (https://github.com/lyckantropen/moonlight_hdr_launcher) configured to start a HDR game stream: My moonlight HDR launcher config is as follows:
- Thinking of getting a 2019 Pro for 4k HDR Moonlight, few questions

Cant make gamestream work with edid emulator
I just got the same one and it works for me using this launcher https://github.com/lyckantropen/moonlight_hdr_launcher. Took a bit of tinkering. I struggled to get it working because the EDID was not display 1 in windows so it would always stream my other monitor regardless of what was set as primary. My gpu always makes the displayport connections montior 1, if you can rearrange yours to make your EDID first that might fix it. If you can't do that it's a bit more annoying, can try to follow this guide which worked for me https://lighthouse.thecloudiest.com/2020/12/20/fix-nvidia-shield-moonlight-selecting-the-wrong-monitor/. This thread is also helpful, https://www.reddit.com/r/cloudygamer/comments/ma3zsr/moonlight_finally_solved_the_problem_with_windows. But I used something called multimonitor tool instead of the one listed in that guide. You may have a different issue though cause if it doesn't work when it's the only monitor then something else might be wrong, good luck!

What are the most comprehensive guides, benchmarks, and reviews for creating your own Cloud PC (AWS/GCP/Any)
Very simple. I used azure and aws. Did not use gcp but same as well. I watched this channel. https://youtube.com/c/TechGuruDirect And used this script as well https://github.com/acceleration3/cloudgamestream Watch videos carefully. Especially moonlight for aws is great. For azure i used different way and worked.

Cannot get GameStreaming working on T4 GCP VM for Moonlight
Yeah that's the problem. There is no shield tab and from the screenshot it's clear that it says it is "Not ready". I understand that's why I need to run the previous script from:https://github.com/acceleration3/cloudgamestream

Roll Your Own Cloud Gaming Server - Updated for 2021 (Parsec + AWS + Automation scripts)
No you dont need Windows 10 Pro. I have Moonlight working on my AWS instance. https://github.com/acceleration3/cloudgamestream - Just use this script and when asked if you want to install drivers choose no and choose yes for vbcable. It will install Geforce Experience and patch it to work with Tesla GPU and Windows Server. After that you can enable shield. Also open the ports required for moonlight in security group in aws console.

Microphone on AWS Instance
https://github.com/acceleration3/cloudgamestream - This is the link to the script. I just used it yesterday and it works. When the script prompts say 'yes' for vbcable and 'no' for drivers. Ask me if you have any doubts.

Or, they could focus on improving the wireless wifi/5g capabilities, so you can have a better desktop experience via a cloud computer, which will give you a better desktop experience then anything you run locally on a smartphone. Which you can easily do now, and it can run games better then any mobile phone. https://github.com/acceleration3/cloudgamestream
