  • I have a Trezor Model T, and I can create a hidden wallet for other coins (I have to additionally enter a different password to access this wallet). Is this possible with the Monero Client?
    That being said, passphrase functionality works different in Monero GUI in comparison to Trezor Suite (Monero GUI doesn't allow plausible deniability, see: Since Monero GUI works with wallet files and Trezor Suite don't, in Monero GUI you must have a wallet file previously created for each passphrase in order to access your multiple "hidden" wallets, while on Trezor Suite you don't have to create any wallet file, you can just type a different passphrase every time you open the software and it will open a different wallet for each passphrase you type. If you need plausible deniability with passphrases in Monero GUI, you will have to create your wallet file, access your wallet and then delete your wallet file every time you want need it.

    I use Electrum (BTC version, LTC version) as my off-exchange, storage wallet on my Mac. There are Windows and Android versions as well. There are also plenty of iOS and android apps that offer crypto wallets if you prefer to keep such a thing on your phone. I like Electrum because it assigns addresses without requesting any info from you or forcing you to 'create an account.'

    I googled, turned out my desktop wallet needed updated as it was version and has a message (from 2019, yes, I just been a'hodlin') saying: "Versions of Electrum-LTC older than 3.3.3 are vulnerable to a phishing attack, where malicious servers are able to display a message asking users to download a fake version of Electrum.
