Would it be possible to implement this 3d model viewer into 3d tavern?
I came across this after finding out about chatvrm https://modelviewer.dev and I was wondering if it would be possible to implement it into silly tavern or if anyone knows of similar extensions? I might try it myself but I really have no idea what I am doing but it would be cool to add any video game character to it with animations for a more realistic rp experience.

F3D is an open source 3D viewer, fast and minimalist
Shameless plug: if you are interested in viewing and/or embedding glTF or USDZ files on the web, I worked on an HTML element for that called
"It's like or tag for 3D models"
https://modelviewer.dev/

Time estimate from a pro
That said, maybe in your case, if it's a really minimal 3D viewer, it could be that the modelviewer.dev could what you need. You can use it like any other html element and just link it to a 3D model you export from blender as a .glb file. I think it also allows you to add labels.

a free alternative to github pages that support at least repos of 60mb?
something free like github pages where can I load fore free about 60mb? basically I am using modelviewer.dev to render a 3d model, but I can't insert it directly into my website because I am using google sites, so I though about using an iframe via github but I am limited to 25mb, which the model is about 40/50mb I can't make it smaller
- a way to freerly render 3d models within google sites?

3d Models on Shopify.
Anyways, I would suggest that you use package by google. You can find it here: https://modelviewer.dev/ .. It takes care of loading the model and controls as well as show the "view in AR" button on supporting devices. More important than anything, you just give it the model and it takes care of everything else.

Trying to load a GLB file and just getting a silhouette?

LanternExtractor fork that allows you to export a player character as a 3D model
If you're unfamiliar with glTF, it is a more modern 3D content format developed by the Khronos Group. Windows has a built-in viewer, but unfortunately the renderer it uses makes all the models look like they were dipped in gloss. I often use: https://gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com/

Blender animation to GLTF and Three.js export issues
Does the animation play correctly when you open the model in a viewer like https://sandbox.babylonjs.com/ or https://gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com/ ? If so, the problem is likely related to your three.js code, and you may have better luck asking on the [three.js forums](https://discourse.threejs.org/).

Blender, exporting .glb for website / shopify, lot of visual errors
In blender and in windows 3d viewer it shows up clean and as intended, but in a glb viewer like gltf viewer ( which works the same as shopify , same errors)
-
Help exporting glb from Blender files ?
Not much to go on, but maybe your scene doesn't have lighting. Try loading the glb with gltf-viewer or gltf.report
-
Error with image textures when exporting .GLB
Does it look the same in gltf-viewer? Does the textures tab show the correct images on gltf.report?
-
Trying to export GLTF, but no matter what I try to export, the GLTF ends up being a linked file that I previously deleted from project.
Drop it in gltf-viewer or try importing it in Blender to make sure. I feel it's much more likely you're just getting a cached version. If it turns out to be the case, just keep devtools open and tick 'Disable cache' on the Network tab

Which is the best 3D viewer, and is there any generic container yet for viewable 3D formats?
gltf-viewer is best for just viewing scenes: Its UI is dead simple, you can navigate, choose cameras, playing animations, it meets the viewing needs, and... If you think about it, a web app is ideal, because new extensions are being officially ratified into gltf as time goes on. In a month or so it'll have gpu instance meshes, before long there'll be materialx... and I can't even name a non-web viewer that supports files with mesh compression or even gpu compressed textures yet. With a web app you can be sure it's up to date and should support features before they are even widely used
