Distro for server (with computer being 1.5 GB ram, 2 thread cpu @ 1.0 ghz)
Try Ubuntu Server. I am not quite sure why you would need a rolling release - if you want speed and the latest kernel use the ubuntu kernel update script: https://github.com/pimlie/ubuntu-mainline-kernel.sh. Highly reccomend the low-latency kernels for desktop systems, but generic should give more bandwidth in a server (not that the system you have will have a bunch of that, but, ya know).
What are some alternatives?
magnet2torrent - This little script will grab as many magnet links as you want from a text file, start downloading the meta data only and save it as a .torrent file.
