Light hotspots pushed back another week
The Light Hotspots activation is the largest update to the Helium network since Validators last year and the core developers have been working hard to ensure a smooth deployment. This week the core team identified a few changes that require another update by various network participants and is moving the activation date to provide participants ample time to upgrade. No action required by Hotspot owners. To ensure blockchain components continue to work as expected we request all network participants upgrade their software to the appropriate version listed below by 2022-05-11 00:00:00 UTC. Activation of Light Hotspots will take place shortly after. Note some components will have releases later this week but we wanted to communicate this change early. We’ll continue to update this announcement as releases become available. - Validators: currently beta (https://github.com/helium/miner/releases/tag/validator1.9.1) - Blockchain Node: https://github.com/helium/blockchain-node/releases/tag/1.1.62 - Router: TBD (later this week) - Hotspot Firmware / Makers: TBD (later this week) - ETL: https://github.com/helium/blockchain-etl/releases/tag/1.1.140 Thanks for updating and we look forward to this launch!
- IPv6 and relayed hotspot
- Dear Helium, you know how much I love you but fix the network plz. Last 4 days have been horrible! Don’t say is random or luck bcs it has worked flawlessly for months! Not sure if you are playing with chain var or what. It’s messed up. And I hope you hear our messages as I’m sure I’m not alone.

Just in case anyone has wondered this or is stupid enough to actually do it. You can swap out the 2gb RP4 for an 8gb one
If you could, compare it to this github and see if you can help debug: https://github.com/helium/miner/issues
