Help for traveling in Switzerland in September
In general, map.geo.admin.ch is great for planning hikes - you can choose the hiking trails overlay (as well as "closures hiking trails" - type in the search bar - to check all is OK. Clicking the little settings gear icon next to the map name in the sidebar gives you info on what it's showing), and use the "draw & measure on map" tool to see how long a given route would be.

How disability-friendly is Switzerland regarding sight-seeing?
Depending on how easy you find it to get around, and what you mean by "all the cool mountains", you could go up to Crans Montana by train and funicular via Sierre, maybe about 3h travel time each way (but very pretty for the most part). It's at about 1500m - not high enough to cause any noticeable problems for people with normal lung function, but obviously I can't speak for you - and has nice views over several of the high Valais peaks on the south side of the Rhone valley. If you are up to gentle strolls then the bisses of Valais could be right up your street, they are flat paths along old irrigation channels that traverse the hillsides at around 1500m, usually with public transport access, and often have lovely views. Those on the north side of the Rhone valley have good views of the high mountains on its south side. You can also stick lower down in the vineyards, though often the paths there go up and down quite steeply so a bit of route planning would be needed (map.geo.admin.ch is an awesome website for that I find, if you can interpret topographic maps)

Leaflet Search plug-in
Im using leafletjs in a project to display a map with some markers. I have several map layers (OSM, GoogleMaps, etc) and I wanted to add a search box to search for some markers. I was using this : https://github.com/stefanocudini/leaflet-search But whenever I add it, for some reason, the layer control from the maps disappear. I think that maybe it’s because I’m creating a new layerGroup to have the controlSearch but I’m not sure. Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this? Or atleast any suggestion on which path I should go through ?
