Acquia, My Drupal Startup
You might want to also check out memos. Nothing like Drupal or WP, but for saving notes/entries/memos and having a very simple system to make some posts public, some only shared with a small group, and some completely private, it's a very elegant system. https://github.com/usememos/memos

What you guys are hosting instead of Nextcloud? I'm sick of it.
EDIT: Thanks for the recommendations from all of you!! I've chose to use the below: - Files: sftpgo - Calendar: baikal - Notes: memos (But beware, it sends opt-out telemetry) - Network folder: webdav on sftpgo

Ask HN: Could you show your personal blog here?
https://thenewleafjournal.com/
I started NLJ back in 2020. It is built with WordPress (hosted on Hetzner VPS and managed with Cloudron). I have published more than 800 articles and 350 short-form posts (almost all posts by me, but my friend has published 30something articles). I write about whatever interests me (I tell myself this means there is something for everyone). Common topics include, but are not limited to, tech (digital ownership, open source software, feeds, and my learning Linux), history (usually American or Roman), old books and poems, anime, visual novels (mainly English translations of freeware NScripter/KiriKiri novels), photos from my walks, fictional dialogues, and occasional commentary about life in NYC.
I am testing out Memos (https://github.com/usememos/memos) for short-form notes and microblog-style posts, but very much a side project next to NLJ. Neat little tool.

Open Source note-taking software with Knowledge Graph view and self-hosted sync between devices
Memos is absolutely amazing. Have you tried it. It's like your own private twitter but for notes with search and a graph type thingy like github has for commits. It's amazing. https://github.com/usememos/memos

Looking for a note taking app with inline tags.

How do you guys document all the technical stuff of your selfhosted servers?
I was using wikijs but it's overkill and way to in-depth for stuff like that but that's not a bad thing it can be a fantastic tool if that's what you prefer. But I recently discovered memos a twitter like note taking app you can selfhost. Search functionality and tags. Can input code segments which I use for my compose files portainer stacks ect.. also have a post on there for all my IP addresses and lots of other useful snippets from around the web. https://github.com/usememos/memos

Soupault: A static website management tool
Perhaps you want own your domain and website setup.
Perhaps you don't have time to be a server admin keeping a public facing CMS up to date and secure.
https://getpublii.com runs on any cheap shared hosting and is zero maintenance. Your website will also be an easy to backup directory on your computer.
Those have complicated stacks that likely won't serve the person that can't grasp a CLI SSG.
https://getpublii.com has a simple GUI and is just a directory on your computer (inside the Dropbox directory for crude backup?).

Show HN: Pages CMS – A CMS for GitHub
Very nice! It looks a bit like Publii [0], but the editor part is cloud hosted instead of running as an app on your machine.

What's your favorite static site generator?
I also consider https://getpublii.com interesting, but I have not yet had any personal experience with it.

The theory versus the practice of “static websites”
I haven't used it, but Publii[0] might be along the lines of what you're thinking of. I ran across it in a previous HN discussion, and it seems to be static site generator with a pretty user-friendly graphical interface.
