Parse it into HTML using markdown-it

We can easily use markdown-it, a markdown parser for rendering a mix of JavaScript and plain text into a markdown file. To get started, kindly create a new directory with the following file structure:

Recently, I am using markdown-it. Due to the nature of Vue and virtual DOM. You cannot style style inside v-html with scoped style. The only solution for me is global css and deep selector. I choose the latter

You could probably use markdown-it in your web app to create a notes program where Markdown is used. That tool has lot of plugins. I used it in a small project for myself to test it and it worked like a charm and you can style it so it looks modern. Nevertheless I do not remember if there is a plugin for collaborative writing so users can edit the same file simultaneously but if it does not exist, you can probably work that out by yourself.

I don't quite get what you mean. I've used [markdown-it](https://github.com/markdown-it/markdown-it) and overwrite its render rule for images, so it returns an NuxtImg instead of an native img tag.

I've been using markdown-it and highlight.js for code snippets, and so far it's been working pretty great straight out of the box without any other parsing or format prompting

It then, gets compiled down to regular HTML by a markdown processor so that the browser can understand it and display it on the screen.

Node.js

To install and run Ember.js, you'll need to follow these steps: Install Node.js and npm (Node Package Manager) on your computer. You can download the latest version of Node.js from the official website. To get involved in the Node.js developer community, you can join community discussions or begin with learning if you’re new. The community discussion houses a GitHub list of issues related to Node.js' core features. If you want to chat in real time about Node.js development, there are Slack groups, and you can still connect with IRC clients or web clients when using the browser. Node.js has a calendar for public meetings.

As with all experimental things, a few things are missing. Some of these might lead to people using dotenv until support for these gets added. I will mention them here and let you see if they are dealbreakers. You can also follow the GitHub issue to track missing feature support.

Depending on the stack of the repository you are cloning, you might have to install additional dependencies. For this demo, I'm using my own website, which is a static website built with Astro.js. It which requires to have Node.js installed and Yarn for package manager.

A working Node.js v20+ environment

We will be using the self-hosted version of Renovate distributed via npm, but you can adapt the scripts in this article to use the Docker version, or others. Make sure you have Node.js installed on your machine.
