One way I have seen is to use Ansible and a playbook - Jeff Geerling does this here but that's a bit OTT for me.

I symlink a few files in place via Dropbox, but have most of my local configs in a dot files repo: https://github.com/geerlingguy/dotfiles

Ask HN: How to Automate iPhone Setup?
Currently, every time I have a new iPhone (or do a hard reset), it takes me a few hours to download all the apps I use and sign into them, and apply my Settings.
PS I know about iCloud backup, but that’s not exactly what I want.
