Ferium, the CLI Minecraft mod manager written in Rust that can download from Modrinth, CurseForge, and GitHub Release, is now 20x faster (from 140s to 7s)! There have been more safety enhancements too.
And yees the backend is in a seperate library called Libium

They try to find the newest version of the mod that is compatible with the configured settings. So basically a bunch of for loops and iterators. Much of it is contained here and here
