What's the state of the art in self-hosted servers these days?
While anecdotes rarely can prove a point, here is my experience anyway to consider: Only a bit less than two months ago I stumbled into that brunolopes repack and tried it out wanting to try and tinker around a bit and it provided an easy start for doing so. Well, since then I studied and learned the internals, (already)[https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/fd7f48545ce76740065860c0963194c2a9e3e0e2] (posted)[https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/1901b45ef60dbaaa5df2923c6d94d06c8cde289b] (merged)[https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/dcfa3701807026b0cb43d450e10c3765e52b63ca] (fixes)[https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/commit/b8059ec6e755a391bcbf951de81e205ede3cf553] to the TrinityCore-3.3.5 repo, (made new tools for the community)[https://model-changing.net/files/file/314-wow-335-patcher-custom-item-fix/], (fixed)[https://github.com/anzz1/lua-mod-skip-dk-starting-area] and (created)[https://github.com/anzz1/lua-mod-infinite-ammo] (some)[https://github.com/anzz1/lua-mod-starterpack] (additional)[https://github.com/anzz1/lua-mod-starterpack] (modules)[https://github.com/anzz1/lua-mod-auto-learn-skills] and (created new functionality for the Eluna scripting engine)[https://github.com/ElunaLuaEngine/Eluna/pull/412].
