Which logging library do you use for KMP?
There are heaps of options, and none of them particularly stand out to me. I'm starting a greenfield project with code shared at least between desktop and Android (JVM only in the medium term), so I've got the chance to find something more actively maintained than Square's logcat that I've been using lately.

Do yout stil use Android Timber lib?
We do use Timber. Another library that seem easy to use that I want to use in the future is logcat from Square.

Mining metrics from unstructured logs
I would say it's not actually detection, it's more like guessing. For most log formats, the agent simply looks for a mention of known levels at the beginning of each message. In addition, we implemented special parsers for glog/klog and redis log formats. If it is impossible to detect the level of severity, the UNKNOWN level is used.
