lichobile VS chessground

A few months ago, news broke that Lichess now has a full-time developer for the mobile app. How can I track the development status of the Lichess Mobile App? What features are planned, is there a roadmap? I can't see anything about it on the github page.

At least on when using the app [this Lichess bug](https://github.com/lichess-org/lichobile/issues/1027) prevents playing any blitz games without taking a bigger rating hit.

lichess (version 7.16.1): free online chess

I have been using the official Android client ( https://github.com/lichess-org/lichobile ), and the only feature I use is anonymous "Quick pairing" games. That is, I do not log into Lichess. The official client does not require login.

It works on the website (desktop and mobile). It will be available in the app soon.

I submitted a PR (for the non-developers: programming code change suggestion) that made the game events emit haptic feedback.

Lichess is actually open source, the mobile app is written in a mixture of typescript, swift and kotlin using ionic capacitor to access the native sdk. I don’t really know the differences between ionic and react native but I don’t see why it shouldn’t be possible to write it using the latter. Mind you that the mobile front end it’s just one of the many blocks that constitute the lichess app as a whole

I want to write a chess board program. I am looking into an open source project called chessground .

Looks like FIDE is using https://github.com/lichess-org/chessground, the UI library for creating chess boards that Lichess developed (great library btw).

I don't think it's lag compensation, I think the actual chess board is more responsive (but I'm not sure if there's a good way to measure that). The README of Chessground (the board used by lichess) says that it is

I simply used the String representation already provided by the chess library. I'll look into adding a proper chessboard eventually (maybe using chessground in a WebView).

I think Lichess uses Chess Ground for their customizable Board and Pieces UI. I know this seems overkill. But, It's just a suggestion.

I want to import chessground into a project of mine. It seems it's a CommonJS module, so i used browserify to import it into my web page.

TL;TR I wanna create a desktop/mobile app for chess databases management with ability to paint and understand diagrams, and not sure what's next. Something like this ( https://github.com/ornicar/chessground/raw/master/screenshot/twin.jpg )

Oh dang, my bad! Just pushed up a fix. I guess just testing on Firefox wasn't the smartest thing to do 🤦‍♂️. I'm mainly using Lichess's chessground library with a react wrapper
