Logitech G502 X not recognized by Piper
On the Piper github page, it lists the G502 X in this device list, but it isn't listed in this device list, so I don't know if it's actually supported. Has anyone been able to get it working?

If you dont complain you get nothing! What features/bug fixes you want to see in future Linux
You can use Piper (libratbag) to configure many Logitech devices: https://github.com/libratbag/libratbag

Gamer thinking of swapping to Linux, have some compatibility concerns.
I also have a G502 hero which can be customized by ratbag/piper. You can create profiles, but I don't think it's possible to autoswap them. Also it might be just me but I also had troubles with setting up the buttons the way I wanted and even today I don't use all the buttons available because of that.

Power supply status of G Pro Wireless doesn't update automatically
Writing configuration to the mouse seems to update the uevent and associated files. I've done it with libratbag (which is what Piper uses): ratbagctl rate set 1000

Exclusive(?!) : Say goodbye to bloated, closed source software โ CoolerMaster to release new, open source version of itโs software with API integration โ and it can work with other coolers too!
It looks like the G920 is not on the supported devices list for Piper/libratbag.

There are two things stopping me from daily driving Linux. Could you help me with those issues?
Assuming you are comfortable with a little bit of scripting, there is a program called logiops - https://github.com/PixlOne/logiops that I use. With this I can control all the gestures and remap them into anything I want. For instance right now if I hold the gesture button and move the mouse back it will act as alt tab. If I move it left or right, it changes my tag/workspace (awesomewm). And so on.

Use One Big Server
> The mouse that I'm using right now (an expensive one) has a 2GB desktop Electron app that seems to want to update itself twice a week.
I'm using a Logitech MX Master 3, and it comes with the "Logi Options+" to configure the mouse. I'm super frustrated with the cranky and slow app. It updates every other day and crashes often.
The experience is much better when I can configure the mouse with an open-source driver [^0] while using Linux.

Logitech options software
I've been using https://github.com/PixlOne/logiops for 2 years without any complaints but my requirements are not complex. Just one remapping on a mx master 3 mouse to make the "thumb" button (not sure what's its called) invoke 'super + d'. If I recall correctly though it was also required to get the forward, back and scroll side buttons to work.
- Someone here have been able to set this mouse up all the buttons ?

Is there any good tool that enables use of Logitech mouse buttons?
have you tried logiops? i don't have an MX Master but it seems to work on it
