Is there a way to retrieve the private key of an account with ledgerhq/hw-app-btc ?
In that case, is there a way to programmatically transfer my funds somewhere else? I noticed that there are methods for creating a transaction of signing a transaction, but I didn't find anything regarding sending a transaction to an other address. How do I connect to the Ledger Live app over Websocket?
Here's a minimalistic Python implementation I'm using on my system https://gist.github.com/btchip/85b4018f0c421bd72c8f818ec31c69ef - from the client side of the bridge you can just use the HTTP transport of ledgerjs (https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledgerjs/tree/master/packages/hw-transport-http). However I wouldn't suggest to use the bridge and rather focus on a native webhid/webusb implementation as the user experience would be much smoother. You can have a look at this Metamask fork to see how it's done https://github.com/hectorchu/metamask-extension , or Keplr https://github.com/chainapsis/keplr-extension or Terra Station https://github.com/terra-money/station

Important MetaMask Update Regarding Code Signing for Ledger Devices | Feb 17, 2023
A fix to this issue was made in a PR to our ledger keyring repo last summer: https://github.com/MetaMask/eth-ledger-bridge-keyring/pull/152/files This fix will be included in an upcoming release. With this fix, the last byte of the signature returned to your dapp, when a user with a Ledger account signs an EIP-712 message, will change.

MetaMask's Ledger integration isn't quite ready yet for this so it wasn't 100% Ledger's fault this wasn't ready for the migration. (See this Github issue.) You'll see in the Ledger keyring for MetaMask it just throws the error "Not supported on this device".
