latex2e VS Awesome-CV

You might claim that it would be better if you could pick-and-choose the things that you want to install and I would agree but this is open source software with no ads maintained (mostly) by volunteers. You can read the source code to see what you're getting and (last time I checked) you can compile the source yourself if you want.

Awesome CV

Thanks! It's actually a LaTeX template (https://github.com/posquit0/Awesome-CV). I thought the three red letters was kind of odd but if I remove it or change it to only the first letter etc it looks kind of weird so I decided to keep it for a splash of color. I was thinking about finding another template but all the other ones look too generic, and being simple can be good, but I think this strikes a nice balance between functionally simple and aesthetically pleasing.
