langterm VS storyboarder

I purposely wrote my home page (https://langworth.com) with plain, vanilla JavaScript, which features both WebGL and plaintext clients for a server-side text adventure game, because I wanted to remind myself that it's not that difficult to build something interactive and fun without miles of modern front-end tooling.

It started as a single page but I eventually broke it out into a few files for organization. The WebGL parts are lengthy and boilerplate-y because, well, that's GL for you. https://github.com/statico/langterm

It’s a retro experience with a text adventure game. I wrote it to prove to myself that I kinda knew WebGL after shutting down our browser gaming startup.

Only one person has beaten the game. Most don’t make it inside the building. Guess I’m not a great game designer ;)

I use Stroyboarder by wonderunit (its free) https://wonderunit.com/storyboarder/ You can either draw in the app or make your scenes in another program and drop them in. Eg, i could make a bunch of frames in illustrator on separate artboards and drop them in. It also links up to photoshop with the press of a button.

Oh man these bring back memories! Had these exact handouts during film school from 2012-2015 at Humber. Now there's something better, and best of all, it's free!

Or for a more budget friendly option, take a look at Storyboarder by Wonder Unit This piece of software is nice, because it can work well with PSD's so you can use the tools in PS or CSP that you are comfortable with.

Storyboarder, Blender for Storyboarding, any drawing software with animation features or software licenses distributed by your university, should provide you enough options to fulfill your tasks.

There is a free program called Storyboarder, and some people use Blender's Grease Pencil tool for storyboarding as well.

Hey, l'm looking for any storyboarding software recommendations where you can sketch out and work on an animatic at the same time as you're drawing cause sometimes l'd like to listen to the audio while drawing out and planning frames. Currently l'm using (Storyboarder)[https://wonderunit.com/storyboarder/] but you can't import audio into it, and l've tried Photoshop with its timeline window, but it's awkward that every frame is on its own layer, and it has always been annoying to work with video in there anyway. Free is preferred, but will take a deep look dive if it's a paid application, thanks in advance! :)
