What's the purpose of purchasing a router this expensive? What is it about this router that makes it a "gaming router"? How does this compare to a $100 router?
https://nyaa.si/ triggers it for me. It's an anime-related torrent site.

1337x gone in australia
I remember I switched ISP a few times and https://nyaa.si/ was consistently blocked, it's so silly to me that they'd care so much to go after anime... I switched back to AussieBB and it's all good.

I want to download a few of my favorite series onto a thumb drive. Have some questions :)
Yes. Though by your response I wouldn't expect you to encode them yourself. It's still new technology but there's a good handful of anime available in that format. On places like nyaa.si and 1337x

Sonarr - Problems with Grabbing Seasons or Even Finding Entire Series Despite Popularity?

Would it be possible to reach N3 level by the end of this year at my current pace?
I hope this is allowed on this subreddit but I use a VPN to access [this website,(https://nyaa.si/) but there might be other better torrenting websites I don't know about. If you don't know how to torrent, it's super easy, just download a client like qbittorent, download the torrent files, and put them in qbittorent.

How often is Windows 10 checking the internet when I don't need it to, slowing processes down? And how do I stop it completely from doing this?
Checking the internet? Just download ImageGlass and make that one your default image viewer. The same for videos, just grab VLC.

Help. I'm here as a sanity saver. Chromecast issues.
I haven't casted from a computer to an older Chromecast in a long time, but I most definitely would have used VLC media player. Would have been on Windows 10 or 11. https://www.videolan.org/vlc/ It's open, source, well supported, and multi-platform. I have just only casted from my windows laptop personally. After install, right-click your movie and choose "open with" VLC. It has a cast button.
use VLC

I’ve just bought my first pc and have no idea where to get started to prepare it for gaming
VLC Media Player - free media player. it's actually a throwback to the media player that was included with older versions of Windows. nice, lightweight, and good for playing pretty much everything.
