The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Alignment of square footprints to center of squares from a dxf file
As an alternative, you can use a kicad project generator like the one I made : https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen

PCB: place a large number of parts in a certain grid
If you want to create a mechanical keyboard PCB, there are several dedicated tools for that, including one I made: https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen

I have fully designed and build a working pcb and I just wanted to share cuz I thought it was cool
then use https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen this guide to put it into kicad. the guide is kinda flawed because to make the pcb it used parts that are no longer available but i figured out how to hook up all the switches to a pro micro so its a lot easier and you can actually get the parts.

I used a software to make a keyboard pcb but in order to print some places need a BOM file but I need to go to schematic to do that but when I want to switch I cant.
ok so you make a keyboard layout with this: http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/ and download the json file and then you follow the steps here https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen and copy paste the codes into command prompt and you get a pcb with you specific layout and all you need to do is connect the traces. but the problem is that there are components that are used and i but not listed so i can make a BOM file so the board can be printed. every time i try to open the schematic view it says there was an error and i don't know what i should do to fix it or even if i can.

1st try at a wooden case, will do better next time
I kinda cheated, theres a tool that takes KLE files and automatically generates a pcb design for them. You still have to connect everything, but it does all the tedious layout for you. Heres the github https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen

Keyboard Builders' Digest / Issue 15
A custom PCB by u/bigbrobewatching (pics). What's more interesting though, is the workflow: KLE, KLE PCB generator I wasn't aware of & the firmware builder by Ruiqi Mao.

Custom pcb fun????
Here’s the github https://github.com/jeroen94704/klepcbgen Basically you import a json from kle and then it spits out a mostly finished kicad file, so it pretty much takes all the tedious work out of it. You still have to route all the traces but it’s pretty great

Dumbpad v3 build including hotswap and rgb
Some of you may already know the dumbpad created by imchipwood ( https://github.com/imchipwood/dumbpad) which is a 4x4 Macropad with an encoder. I took the liberty to create a new version of the pad that adds hotswap Sockets and per key RGB to the original design.

Lily58 Pro vs Sofle v2, which one do you prefer?
i made dumbpad; It's 4x4 with encoder on the side . On /r/olkb and /r/MechanicalKeyboards, you can search for marco pad for 3x3, 3x4, and so on that supports encoder.

[UK] [H] PayPal cash [W] switch tester or macro pad, external mum pad
Hi, I've got a dumbpad macropad available - see this post for more info: https://www.reddit.com/r/mechmarket/comments/ltpd93/service_build_service_with_instock_parts_for/ I've also got a range of switches for trying, I haven't had time to update this list lately, but it might give you a rough idea: https://www.reddit.com/user/hectoring/comments/ivppks/switches_available_for_testing/
