Search a document/file on Macbook M1?
If it's Kiwix Desktop, then I'm afraid I can't test that, as I don't have a physical Mac, and Browser Stack doesn't allow me to install executables. However, it might be worth raising an issue here.

It's been out for a couple of weeks, but in case you didn't see it, check out Kiwix Desktop 2.3.0

Not enough storage available
Ah, I did a bunch of experimenting and figured out a few things.. One, https://github.com/kiwix/kiwix-desktop/issues/868 affects versions prior to 2.3.0. two; I was using version 2.2.0 or such. And three; it still seems to always download into $HOME no matter what I set the download path to, so if my "download path" has 400G free but $HOME only has 10G free, I can't download anything 10G or larger.

How to open multiple .zim files?
You can have several tabs open at once but I don't think you can open several zim files in once click. But that would be an interesting feature, maybe you should open a ticket at https://github.com/kiwix/kiwix-desktop/issues

Please, how do I make hardlinks like on Windows tablet? My company requires a legacy app -- Kiwix -- but it doesn't support external storage on my tablet, even though the OTG drive shows up fdine in everything else, so I am trying to hardlink like in Windows or Linux. Android uses Linux kernel&FS?
A good place to ask would probably be r/kiwix or, better, https://github.com/kiwix/kiwix-android/issues (or https://github.com/kiwix/kiwix-desktop/issues)

We Developed A Tool To Make A Copy Of Most

Edex UI, a UI for the digital minimalist.
Ok, say you are a bit of a nerd and you love to stay "focuced" on whatever you are doing. These days, a bunch of windows tend to distract you and before you know it you are off surfing for kittens on the internet. Enter Edex UI, a nerdy "shell" on top of your Windows/Mac/Linux interface that gives you access to the command line AND to your files. The interface is very very nerdy (think 1999's Hackers) and you do need to know how to run some command line apps (or you can go for applications like Micro and Tilde to use as a text editor). The result? Supernerdy, distraction free interface that will get you a LOT of eyeballs if you decide to use it in the local Starbucks. Easy peasy to install https://github.com/GitSquared/edex-ui
