It should update the color whenever the wallpaper changes. The message is probably because you still have some mixed up config. You can restart and then set any color scheme as default and then make sure you already have choosen a custom accent color in setting. After that start the app. The app is working fine in konsole for me. I have updated the readme. check this out. If you don't get accent for some wallpapers then it means either the wallpaper is changing so fast that it does not have enough time to change accent or it is generating a color close to previous accent that the new accent is almost indistinguishable. Sometimes the app fails to generate color when the image is not supported by qt. I am using qt and it sometimes for reason says the image is not valid. In that case I just skip that wallpaper instead of annoying user that the current wallpaper is broken.

If a single developer can make a better implementation than Google did, I'm sure the development team could and should do better.

Code-wise Monet is not a part of AOSP. kdrag0n's implementation is nice and all, but I doubt LOS with its tendency to stay close to AOSP would integrate it. Looks like it can be applied with Magisk though.

There's nothing stopping them creating their own, or including a third party library to do it (I can see kdrag0n's recreation being included by some for example), but they can't use Google's. This might be why OnePlus aren't including it - they're not choosing to remove it, they're simply not recreating it.

i found a way fix. but u need root your device first, need magisk, lsposed, and android 12 extensions(https://github.com/kdrag0n/android12-extensions).

There's also kdrag0n's reproduction of Monet, and my implementation of it in a library, compatible with Android 5.0+ (shameless plug)
