ESLint provides sophisticated analysis of JavaScript or TypeScript sourcecode. Thankfully it can be configured as easy as Prettier for a monorepo. We can define an .eslintrc.json file in the project root and that will apply to all files in the Monorepo.

For my static site generator, which is written in JavaScript, I have selected Prettier and ESLint as the formatting and styling guide tools. I chose them due to their popularity amongst other developers, with detailed documentation and high customizability. Also, I have been using Prettier for a while as a VS Code extension, so it would be nice to learn more about it.

Like Prettier, ESLint is a very commonly used tool that I see often so I chose it as the Linter for my repository.
